5.5　Operating Shifts

5.5.1　The operating shifts for warehouse-in of raw materials and warehouse-out of finished products shall be determined in accordance with the transportation method of raw materials and finished products and relevant requirements of the transportation authority.If no specific requirement is made by the owner，the two-shift system shall be adopted for railroad transportation.The one-shift system or the two-shift system should be adopted for road transportation and water transportation.

5.5.2　When the finished product packaging section works in the three-shift system，and a temporary storage area is provided within the packaging area，the one-shift system should be adopted for the section for warehouse-in and storage of barreled and bagged finished products.If no temporary storage area is provided，the section of warehouse-in and storage of finished products shall be in the same shift system as the packaging section.

5.5.3　For chemicals warehouses，hazardous substance warehouses，metallic material warehouses and spare part warehouses，one-shift system should be adopted.
